It was sad to leave Cromer as we had a wonderful week there. I have spent a lot of time there growing up as my parents had a caravan there for many years. Many happy memories held in my memory banks.
I think the thought of coming home was made worse with what’s in store for the next couple of months. But hey ho it will all be history soon!
One bit of good news when I got home was that I had an envelope marked for Ms Lisa ..........
I opened it and it was a copy of a letter sent to my GP from the Gender clinic.
It states that they are happy to support a diagnosis of gender identity disorder, with entry into their two year programme.
It requests my GP take full blood tests for a whole host of things plus BMI, Blood pressure and cardiovascular status. It also asks for a cursory genital examination (for future surgery). Yippee
One happy girl here now. :-D
So after a week of drinking far too much I am now going to be tee total for a while so my liver results don’t come back pickled! Hopefully that will help me loose the 2 pounds I put on while away to. :- )
It goes on to say that they will prescribe hormones when I am full time.
I am part time now basically everywhere but work, but they do insist on being full time before prescribing them on this side of the pond.
I am hoping I get a good night’s sleep tonight in preparation for a busy week at work.
I have posted some pictures of our holiday. These are all in Cromer and the 2 we are standing high up are on the top of the tower in Cromer Church. All 172 steps of the high spiral stone staircase. We counted every step up and down. The lady at the bottom of the bell tower was so nice. We chatted for ages.
The pier you can see is Cromer pier. There is a decent bar at the end of the pier now and they have summer plays on at the small theatre there.
It’s a quaint old fashioned sea side town but one I love.

That is so wonderful to get your 'letter'; will this step give you more power when you have to talk with your managers?
The water looks cold, but the children were still have a good go at it.
I guess that means that work is now the key to what happens next and when. How could they be so foolish as to ask you if you had thought about this!
I like these quiet slightly old fashioned places, you all are having such a good time which I feared you would not do.
Can you be more relaxed and comfortable as your true self?
no note came up on No 2 blog to send us here BTW.

Congratulations on getting "the letter"! That's wonderful news. I hope that Sarah is right and that it's one more thing to show your employers that this is your life now.
Love the pictures!
Just FYI, I did see notification of a new posting.
Looks, and sounds, like you had a nice time. I'm trying to remember the last time I had the nerve to go paddling in the north sea... Some time ago I think.. Esp on your side of the water :)
Congrats on getting the letter, hope it add's weight to your discussions in the office.

Thanks it was a lovely break in the end.
CAroline it does not look like you are following my second blog as you are not on the list of followers.
You will need to go in and click follow to see the notification I think.
I am not sure this adds any extra weight at work other than cover my backside a little if things go pear shaped. But we will see how this week progresses I guess.

This picture in my blog was taken from the woods which are just on the horizon of your picture from the church tower :-)
I love swimming in the sea in Cromer and Sheringham (I prefer stones to sand). I do it every summer with my mum when I visit.
So glad to hear you have your letter. At least your management can't doubt that you a real need to do what you have to do and not just a desire.
